Esteban Argudo – Ecuador

 Esteban Argudo is one of the leading intellectual property lawyers and scholar in  Ecuador. As the former head of the Copyright Office in the Ecuadorian Intellectual Property Institute, he oversaw many improvements to copyright legislation and promoted its application in day to day uses. He was also a key member of his country’ s negotiating group in the free trade agreement discussions with the United States and the European Union. This high ranking government position followed experiences in the legal system as a judge and in the corporate world as legal advisor to local and international companies.
